There was a time when you couldn't escape a chart with Alison Moyet hovering somewhere comfortably within the top ten.
But that was the mid 1980s, and there's been a lot of water under the
pop bridge since she dominated the charts, first with Yazoo, then
flying solo, with nine top 30 singles, including hits such as 'Love
Resurrection', 'Is This Love?' and 'Weak in the Presence of Beauty'.
Her voice is beyond doubt - she proved that with her distinctive take
on standards 'That Ol' Devil Called Love' and 'Love Letters'.
And, in good news for her fans, she's back with a new album 'the
minutes' to be released in May, and in better news, you can have a
preview of her track 'Changeling', where Ms Moyet is offering a FREE
download. As she explains...
"I have taken my time (one), more significantly (two) I really want
you to hear it and thirdly (three) apparently it's what you do
nowadays."

Memories fade
"Memories fade but the scars still linger,
I cannot grow,
I cannot move,
I cannot fell my age,
The vice like grip of tension holds me fast,
Engulfed by you,
What can I do,
When history’s my cage...
Look foward to a future in the past".
